Youssoufa Moukoko set for exit from FC Copenhagen

Youssoufa Moukoko is expected to leave FC Copenhagen this summer after just one season with the Danish club. Following his move from Borussia Dortmund in 2025 for approximately five million euros, the 21-year-old striker has struggled to secure a permanent starting position.

Reports indicate that Copenhagen has placed the player on the transfer market and is awaiting concrete offers. While Moukoko recorded 18 goals and three assists across all competitions during his first season, his influence has waned under manager Bo Svensson. In the current season, he has appeared in only five matches without recording a goal or assist, often serving as a substitute.

Moukoko, who is under contract until 2030, reportedly found it difficult to settle into the club and the country. As the transfer deadline approaches on September 1, his future remains uncertain, though a return to one of Europe’s top five leagues remains a possibility.
