Youth and social economy organizations receive new funding opportunities
In Ivory Coast, the Fonds d'Appui aux Organisations de Jeunesse (FAOJ), supervised by the Ministry of Youth Promotion, Professional Insertion and Civic Service, is offering funding for youth-led initiatives. Eligible projects can focus on ten key areas, including civic engagement, peace, social cohesion, sports, culture, training, volunteering, social entrepreneurship, community innovation, and local development. Applications are submitted online.
In France, several calls for projects are available for social and solidarity economy (ESS) structures. The Jérôme Gayet Foundation is seeking projects aimed at helping people return to stable employment, offering 18 months of mentorship and financial aid. Eligible applicants must be non-profit or disinterested management structures that have existed for less than one year as of January 1st of the application year. Other active opportunities include the RAJA-Danièle Marcovici Foundation for gender equality and the Electro Dépôt IMPACT Fund for combating precariousness in specific French regions.
