Youth athletes and students engage in sports development in Puebla

Ten young footballers from Bahía de Banderas and Puerto Vallarta have traveled to Puebla to participate in five-day trials with Club Puebla’s youth academy. The players, aged between 2009 and 2012, represent the Onzas del Vallejo football school and aim to secure opportunities within professional football. The group includes players across various positions, such as central defense, lateral defense, midfield, and forward.

In a separate regional development initiative, nearly 300 students from the Colegio de Bachilleres del Estado de Puebla (COBAEP) visited the Universidad del Deporte del Estado de Puebla (UDEP). The visit included scientific and sports-oriented activities, such as anatomy demonstrations, physical capacity testing, and practice in disciplines including boxing, volleyball, football, table tennis, padel, and 3x3 basketball. The program aims to promote integral health and detect athletic talent among high school students.
