Youth career orientation initiatives launched in France and Tunisia

Various regional initiatives are underway to support youth career orientation and employability. In Chesnay-Rocquencourt, France, the third edition of the ‘SOS Rentrée’ program is providing personalized guidance throughout September. The initiative offers workshops at the Rooftop youth space, covering topics such as project definition, overcoming failure, and job application preparation, including CV refinement and interview simulations. Key partners include the Mission Locale de Versailles and France Travail.

In Tunis, Tunisia, the seventh edition of ‘Forsa Street’ has commenced at the Cité de la Culture. Organized by the National Agency for Employment and Independent Work (ANETI) and the Tunis-German Center for Migration and Development, the event runs through September 20. The program uses an interactive ‘labyrinth of opportunities’ to connect young people with information regarding higher education, vocational training, entrepreneurship, and employment opportunities both domestically and internationally.
