Youth celebrations held in Râmnicu Sărat and Bălți

Youth-focused celebrations are taking place in Râmnicu Sărat, Romania, and Bălți, Moldova.

In Râmnicu Sărat, the “Youth Days” program features a wide array of activities, including sports competitions like the Beach Volleyball Open and the ONIX Summer Cup, as well as educational workshops and cultural events. The municipality is also launching a candidacy for the title of Romania’s Youth Capital 2028 and hosting a meeting between young citizens and Mayor Sorin Cîrjan to discuss community development.

In Bălți, Moldova, over 1,500 young people gathered at Mihai Volontir Central Park to celebrate International Youth Day. During the festival, members of the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (IGSU) provided safety training to participants to ensure secure festivities.
