Youth charged in Swan River business vandalism

A 17-year-old from Keeseekoose First Nation in Saskatchewan has been charged with mischief under $5,000 following the vandalism of a business in Swan River, Manitoba.

According to the Swan River RCMP, the incident occurred on Fifth Avenue North. Police responded to the scene after discovering the front door of a business had been smashed with a brick. Investigators were able to identify the suspect using security footage from a nearby establishment. The youth was arrested without incident and has been released into the care of an adult pending a future court appearance.
