Youth council elections and appointments announced in Poland

Local government updates in Poland include the announcement of the new Ursynów District Youth Council for the 2026–2028 term. The council consists of 28 members: 23 delegates selected from Warsaw-run primary and secondary schools, and 5 members chosen through a competition organized by the Ursynów District Office for students living in or attending private schools in the district.

Additionally, elections for the Bolesławiec County Youth Council for the 2026–2029 term are scheduled for November 19, 2026. Residents aged 16 to 21 are eligible to vote and run for office. The council will distribute mandates across several municipalities, including Bolesławiec, Nowogrodziec, Osiecznica, Warta Bolesławiecka, and Gromadka. Candidates must secure support from at least 10 residents of their municipality and 40 residents of the county.
