Youth employment and entrepreneurship initiatives in Chad and Senegal

In Chad, Commercial Bank Tchad (CBT) has signed a partnership agreement with the organizing committee of the National Employment Forum (FNE 2026). As the exclusive banking partner, CBT aims to mobilize job and internship opportunities for young people and provide technical support to entrepreneurs through the PROJIACE initiative.

In Senegal, a study conducted between 2023 and 2024 in the regions of Dakar, Diourbel, and Thiès indicates that 80% of surveyed youth are considered employable within the health sector. The findings, released in Thiès on October 20, 2026, suggest these individuals also possess the capacity to launch their own entrepreneurial projects. The initiative, which has been active since 2024, focuses on guiding youth toward healthcare professions.
