Youth engagement initiatives held in Germany and Austria

In Germany, a two-day event in Dötlingen brought together young representatives from both military and civilian sectors to discuss the future of the German Bundeswehr Association (DBwV). Led by Colonel Thomas Behr and Master Sergeant Oliver Sekuli, the forum focused on strengthening cooperation across association levels and providing new members with insights into the organization's history, structure, and objectives.

In Austria, the Upper Austrian State Parliament hosted the ‘Forum Young Democracy’ in Linz. The event allowed students to explore democratic processes and engage in direct discussions with various political representatives. Participants addressed topics such as family policy, school, and equality, aiming to connect young people with decision-making processes and political engagement.
