Youth entrepreneurship and technology initiatives launch in Kaohsiung and Hong Kong

The inaugural ‘Harbor City Entrepreneurship Festival’ was held in Kaohsiung, organized by the Kaohsiung International Junior Chamber. The event aimed to create a platform for local young entrepreneurs to exchange experiences, access government resources, and find potential business partners. The forum featured speakers from various sectors, including catering, e-commerce, and branding, focusing on practical growth strategies from initial startup stages to organizational development.

In Hong Kong, the Sun Hung Kai Properties International Youth Science and Technology Education Competition (IYSEC) 2026 concluded its awards ceremony. Under the theme ‘AI Competing for the Future,’ the competition involved over 6,000 students from more than 500 schools. The event expanded its reach to the Greater Bay Area, including cities like Guangzhou, Foshan, and Macau, to promote regional exchange in STEM and artificial intelligence.
