Youth fire brigades conduct intensive emergency rescue training

Approximately 80 members of various district youth fire brigades participated in a professional firefighter training day involving several simulated emergency scenarios.

Participants engaged in diverse exercises, including extinguishing a simulated car fire at the Ruco company site in Eppstein and performing a rescue of a dummy from a railway tunnel using a rail wagon. Other drills included simulating a building fire in Niederjosbach using specialized glasses to mimic low visibility, and conducting a rescue in steep terrain at a cemetery in Vockenhausen. The exercises were designed to test the skill, ingenuity, and technical knowledge of the youth members.
