Youth initiatives launched in Tlaltizapán and Yuriria

In Tlaltizapán, Morelos, municipal authorities have announced 'Impulsa Fest', a three-day event designed to provide healthy recreation and personal development opportunities for local youth. Part of the Youth Month celebrations, the festival will feature workshops and group dynamics held from 15:00 to 18:30. The activities are scheduled to take place from August 18 to August 20, moving through various locations including El Mirador, Santa Rosa 30, and the municipal headquarters.

In Yuriria, Guanajuato, María Guadalupe Ramírez Chaca, serving as the president of the Youth City Council for a day, has proposed a new initiative titled ‘Tejiendo Comunidad’. The proposal advocates for a youth-led group to visit the municipality's more than 80 communities to listen to residents' specific needs before implementing projects. The initiative aims to move away from standardized government interventions in favor of community-driven solutions, such as recovering public spaces or providing workshops for seniors.
