In Boyacá, Colombia, the Universidad Pedagógica y Tecnológica de Colombia (UPTC) is distributing equipment and tools to 49 youth-led initiatives through the ‘Jóvenes en Ciencia para la Paz’ project. The supported projects span various fields, including astronomy, biodiversity, community tourism, agricultural production, and technological innovation. Specific beneficiaries in municipalities such as Corrales, Belén, and Pajarito are receiving items like solar telescopes, binoculars, and precision agriculture tools.
In Villa Sonia, Uruguay, the ACJ Youth Center has been selected to receive over 300,000 pesos through the INAU ‘Fondos Trama’ program. The project, titled ‘Construyendo nuestro lugar: participación, inclusión y comunidad en Villa Sonia’, aims to recover and intervene in an abandoned public space within the neighborhood to improve the quality of life for local children and adolescents.
