Youth kickboxers secure international titles in Chile and UK

Young kickboxing athletes from Brazil and Portugal have achieved significant success in recent international competitions.

In Chile, 14-year-old Arthur da Costa Lopes secured three medals at the Pan-American and South American Kickboxing Championships in Olmué. Lopes earned gold in both Light Contact and Kick Light, along with a silver in Point Fighting. He was part of a Mato Grosso delegation that collectively won nine medals at the event, which featured over 1,000 athletes from 18 countries.

In the United Kingdom, 12-year-old Afonso Sereto won two titles at the WKO Open World Championships in Barnsley. Representing Portugal, Sereto took first place in the Low Kick category for 11-12 year olds and again in the Low Kick Light category for 12-14 year olds. His performance placed him at the top of the WKO World Grand Prix ranking for his division.
