Youth leadership and professional qualification initiatives highlighted in Brazil
Social initiatives in Brazil are focusing on youth empowerment through leadership training and professional qualification. The Observatório do Terceiro Setor held its 17th live session, titled ‘Gentileza e Generosidade com jovens líderes 2026’, to discuss how solidarity and responsible fundraising can drive sustainable social impact projects led by young people.
In Santa Catarina, the ‘Novos Caminhos’ program celebrated the graduation of 38 adolescents in Jaraguá do Sul. The program provides professional qualification and personal development workshops to help youth leaving care institutions gain autonomy and enter the labor market. The initiative has gained national recognition via a resolution from the National Council of Justice (CNJ) and is expanding its impact across Brazil through partnerships between the public sector and private companies.
