Youth leadership faces accountability and stability challenges in Eswatini and Namibia

During a training program organized by the Eswatini National Youth Council in the Hhohho Region, leaders emphasized that committee members must act as the ‘ears and eyes’ of their constituencies to effectively communicate youth challenges.

In Namibia, the National Youth Council is facing scrutiny following a chaotic general assembly in Swakopmund. Reports of physical confrontations, injuries, and property damage have led to questions regarding the institution's ability to fulfill its mandate of promoting youth development and serving as a bridge between the government and young citizens.
