Youth-led community projects deliver toys and training in Dominican Republic and Costa Rica

In La Vega, Dominican Republic, a group of young entrepreneurs, businesspeople, and media professionals delivered over a hundred toys and ice cream to children attending the Summer English Camp at the Fray Ramón Pané Educational Center. The effort, coordinated by entrepreneur Elmerk Jonas, also included motivational talks encouraging the students to pursue their dreams.

In Miramar, Costa Rica, the municipality of Montes de Oro partnered with the University San Marcos to host a community day featuring brand‑building workshops for local entrepreneurs, storytelling sessions for children, vocational guidance for high‑school students, and a neighborhood clean‑up. Officials highlighted the event’s role in linking academic learning with community development.
