Youth Media Labs Moldova 2026 workshop announced for Bălți

The International Media Academy (IMA) from Germany, in partnership with the Independent Journalism Center (CJI), has announced the selection of participants for the ‘Youth Media Labs Moldova 2026’ workshop. The event is scheduled to take place from October 1 to October 3, 2026, in Bălți.

The workshop is designed for young individuals aged 18 to 23 interested in journalism and media production. It aims to provide practical tools for identifying relevant topics, verifying information, proper documentation, and transforming ideas into publishable journalistic materials. The curriculum will cover ethical standards, digital presentation techniques, and source verification.

Eight participants will be selected to undergo mentorship and practical exercises. Those who successfully complete their journalistic materials may receive small grants of up to 100 euros to support their work. The program encourages collaboration with Moldovan media platforms for the publication of the resulting content.
