Youth programs in Italy focus on arts and digital well-being
In Civitavecchia, the Fondazione Molinari has launched two free educational projects, PYD Start and ERMES, aimed at supporting youth development through arts and psychological well-being. The initiatives include weekly ceramics workshops for individuals aged 11 to 18 held on Thursdays, and theatre sessions for those aged 11 to 14 held on Mondays and Wednesdays at the Teatro Nuovo.
Separately, at the Festival della Biblioterapia in Laveno, experts from Video Game Therapy engaged in a dialogue with young people regarding digital habits. The discussion addressed the use of video games in educational settings to foster collaboration and autonomy. Experts noted that problematic gaming behavior often stems from factors outside the digital medium itself, suggesting that games can serve as tools for personal expression and social restructuring when used correctly.
