Youth religious gatherings focus on Seoul 2027 and Medjugorje festival

Preparations are underway for the 2027 World Youth Day, scheduled to take place in Seoul, South Korea, from August 3 to August 8, 2027. Young people from various regions, including groups from Padova, Italy, are already planning their participation. Some participants are exploring options to combine the Seoul event with visits to other cultural and spiritual locations, such as Bangkok.

In a separate religious gathering, the 37th Mladifest (Youth Festival) recently concluded in Medjugorje, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Held from August 1 to August 6, the event drew participants from 73 countries. The festival included catechisms, testimonies of conversion, and various spiritual activities at sites such as the Church of St. James, Podbrdo, and Križevac.
