Youth shooting teams compete at European League in Latvia

National youth shooting teams participated in the European Youth League Championship held in Jurmala, Latvia, from October 22 to 25. The competition utilized a unique format involving individual duels rather than cumulative scores.

The Bosnia and Herzegovina team finished in fourth place in the 10-meter air rifle discipline. After securing victories against Slovenia, Denmark, Italy, and Croatia in the group stage, they faced Hungary in the bronze medal match, narrowly losing by a margin of 0.1 in the final shot.

In the same competition, the Serbian national team achieved five victories on the opening day. The Serbian rifle team, featuring Anastasija Živković, Srna Aranđelović, David Savić, and Mihailo Lončarski, secured wins against Estonia, Hungary, and Latvia to lead Group 2. The Serbian pistol team, consisting of Matija Kvasnevski, Mateja Dimić, Kristina Pejović, and Ema Cvejin, recorded wins against Sweden and Lithuania following an initial loss to Poland.
