Youth sports results in Switzerland and Austria

In Switzerland, youth hockey teams from ZSHT experienced mixed results during a weekend of competition in Wettingen. The U8 and U10 teams faced varying levels of success against opponents from Luzern, Basel, Zurich, and Olten, amidst poor weather conditions. Meanwhile, the U15 Elite mixed team secured a 4:2 victory against GC and a dominant 11:0 win against a team from Basel.

In Austria, the SK BMD Vorwärts Steyr junior team secured a 1:0 away victory against Wartberg/Krems in the 1. Ost league. Despite facing several absences due to illness, injury, and work commitments, the squad utilized five U18 players to secure the win via a header from Fabian Noah Schörkhuber following a corner. However, the victory was marred by a serious injury to Markus Dominik, who suffered a broken collarbone following a heavy foul.
