Youth sports teams achieve tournament success in Germany

In recent sporting events in Germany, youth teams achieved notable successes in handball and volleyball tournaments.

At the Tosmar Cup in Diekholzen, a male A-youth handball team secured a tournament victory. The team recorded decisive wins against the Leipzig B-youth team (32:12) and the Leipzig A-youth team (29:15). They completed their successful run with an 18:17 victory over JSG Söhre-Himmelsthür.

Additionally, students from the Bertolt-Brecht-Gymnasium Schwarzenberg competed in the ‘Jugend trainiert für Olympia’ volleyball tournament. The girls' team earned third place after defeating a team from Schneeberg in the match for third position. The boys' team reached the quarterfinals, ultimately finishing in sixth place.
