Youth summer camps held in Switzerland and Germany

Various youth summer camps were recently held in Switzerland and Germany, focusing on outdoor activities and community building.

In Klöntal, Switzerland, 40 primary school children from Glarus Süd participated in a week-long summer camp from July 25 to 31. The program included hiking through Timmerwald and around Klöntalersee, as well as activities such as football, billiards, and exploring the Sulzbach waterfall. The camp was supported by local donations for food and treats.

In Stockheim, Germany, 45 children aged eight to twelve attended a five-day survival-themed camp organized by the Evangelical Youth of the Weißenburg, Gunzenhausen, and Pappenheim deanates. Highlights included an excursion to Brombachsee and walking a barefoot path. The camp emphasized social connection through group games and evening gatherings around a campfire.
