Youth Summer Camps Kick Off in Belgium and England
In early July, the Seventh‑day Adventist Church organized its annual summer camp in the Ardennes region of Belgium, gathering more than 160 children, leaders and carers from July 7‑15. Participants engaged in nature‑based activities such as flora and fauna exploration, survival techniques, themed games, tree‑climbing and a biblical‑tribe journey, despite sharing the venue with tourists, logistical hurdles and wet weather.
Meanwhile, Kings Camps is running at Cheadle Hulme School in England, offering three weeks of sport‑focused programmes for children and teenagers aged 5‑17 until August 21. The Multi‑Active programme includes over 30 sports and themed sessions like “Wet Wednesday”, while the Rookie Academy targets 15‑17‑year‑olds with confidence‑building and leadership activities. Flexible booking, extended hours and support for families facing difficulties are also provided.
