Youth summer internships provide professional experience in Finland

Various summer internship programs in Finland are providing young people with essential first steps into the professional world. At Satakunta University of Applied Sciences, eight students participated in a program organized by Sivista, YTN, and OAJ. The initiative aims to offer students from various educational levels a safe environment to gain experience and introduce new perspectives to workplaces.

Similarly, the National Land Survey of Finland employed over one hundred summer workers across the country. These roles included diverse tasks such as land surveying in Lapland, which combined office work with field operations, and aerial imagery processing in Helsinki. These positions offered students opportunities to work with both modern aerial production and historical film archives dating back to the 1930s.
