Youth training initiatives launched in Vinaròs and La Pobla de Farnals

In Vinaròs, the ‘Talent Jove Activa Jove’ electricity workshop is approaching its conclusion. Ten young participants are set to complete their professional qualifications on October 31, following a program designed to improve youth employability in a high-demand sector. Participants will receive official certifications in electrical network assembly operations and low-voltage installation maintenance.

During their practical training, students performed maintenance and modernization tasks at municipal buildings, including the CEIP Mare de Déu de la Misericòrdia, the Senior Center, and the CEE Baix Maestrat. Key improvements included upgrading electrical panels and replacing conventional lighting with LED technology to increase energy efficiency and safety.

Meanwhile, in La Pobla de Farnals, the Espai Jove has opened registrations for ‘Verifica2’. This workshop is designed for youths aged 14 to 18 to develop digital literacy skills. The program focuses on teaching participants how to detect fake news, evaluate the reliability of information sources, and use digital tools to verify content before sharing it on social media and messaging platforms.
