Youth training programs expand in Argentina and Dominican Republic
In Argentina, the Santiago del Estero provincial government has launched a new phase of the “Santiago Crece con Vos” program, offering 921 new spots for youth aged 18 to 35. The initiative focuses on training and labor insertion in sectors such as technology, digital economy, tourism, and industry. Registration for this phase begins August 12 through in-person applications at the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology or designated municipal offices.
In the Dominican Republic, 160 young people from the northern region completed the 2026 Future Entrepreneurs Technological Development Program. Organized by Infotep and Capex, the training provided specialized skills in artificial intelligence and cybersecurity to meet modern productive sector demands. The graduation ceremony was held at the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra in Santiago, involving representatives from the Santiago Free Zone Corporation.
