Youth training programs held in Redon and Avranches

Various youth training initiatives are taking place in France, focusing on practical life skills and childcare.

In Redon, 18 participants aged 16 to 23 recently completed a BAFA training session organized by Léo Lagrange Animation using a self-management model. During the week-long program, trainees were responsible for daily tasks including grocery shopping, meal preparation, cleaning, and budget management. This format aimed to bridge the gap between theoretical training and the practical realities of managing holiday stays.

In Avranches, a childcare training program for individuals aged 18 to 25 is scheduled for late October. Organized by the ‘Baby-sitters en toute confiance’ network, the training consists of four mandatory workshops covering child development, domestic risks, legislation, and first aid. Participants must complete these sessions to join the service, which connects trained sitters with local parents.
