Youth volunteers drive community initiatives in Co Le and Yen Lap

Youth organizations in Vietnam's Co Le and Yen Lap communes are conducting extensive community service and social welfare programs.

In Co Le, following the merger of several local organizations, over 1,500 members are engaged in environmental sanitation, tree planting, and supporting disadvantaged families. The youth union also focuses on educational safety, such as drowning prevention campaigns for students, and maintains local martyr cemeteries.

In Yen Lap, nearly 600 volunteers have participated in initiatives including planting over 5,000 trees and organizing charity drives. These efforts include providing gifts to impoverished households and students, as well as promoting national defense through military service awareness and training programs.
