Youth volunteers participate in Italian civil protection training
Youth volunteers in Italy have participated in specialized training programs focused on civil protection and emergency response.
In the Marche and Umbria regions, the “Voci dal Futuro” initiative brought together volunteers aged 16 to 35. Organized by ANPAS Marche, the event held at the Foligno Regional Civil Protection Center facilitated direct dialogue between young participants and high-level officials from the civil protection system. The training included experiential workshops on rescue canine units, emergency psychology, and simulation techniques.
Additionally, a second edition of a civil protection school was held in Piticchio, Arcevia. The week-long program involved 24 young participants working alongside local authorities, including the Carabinieri, Firefighters, and Regional Civil Protection, to foster civic engagement and practical emergency skills.
