Youth wrestlers and athletes shine at regional German competitions

At the Lady Lions Wrestling Regio Cup in Korb, two ASV Nendingen wrestlers excelled. Elizan Yilmaz won the gold medal after defeating several state champion opponents, while Lene Hemmerling‑Böhmer secured silver.

During the Seckenheim Sommersportfest, LSV Ladenburg’s Janis Quennet delivered a personal‑best performance in the block sprint, finishing fourth with 2,193 points and qualifying for the Badischen Meisterschaften in Engen. His result gives him a choice of events for the upcoming state championships.
