Youth wrestling competitions held in Nagykanizsa and Kazincbarcika

Several youth wrestling competitions recently took place across Hungary. In Nagykanizsa, the Kanizsai Birkózó Sportegyesület (KBSE) organized the István Tóth Memorial Tournament, which also served as the Regional Cup for the U10, U11, and U13 age groups. The event drew over 200 young wrestlers from across the Transdanubia region and marked the 25th anniversary of the KBSE.

In Kazincbarcika, the Lagzi Kovács Zsolt Memorial Tournament hosted the Eastern Hungary Regional Cup for freestyle wrestling. Competitors from the Szegedi Vasutas Sport Egyesület (SZVSE) achieved multiple podium finishes, including a first-place finish by Tekla Anita Rédai in the U11 category, a silver medal by Bottyán Gerdenics-Nagy, and bronze medals for Dávid Juhász and Botond Bús.
