YouTuber arrested for harassing student with autism at Florida university

Jack Tyler Laroche, a 22-year-old YouTuber, has been arrested following an incident at the University of North Florida in Jacksonville. Laroche is accused of chasing a college student with autism into a dormitory bathroom to film content for his YouTube channel.

According to police reports, the victim attempted to evade the suspect by entering a bathroom stall. Laroche allegedly entered the stall, harassed the student, and struck him in the face, causing the student's glasses to break. The suspect reportedly forced the victim to set a 10-minute timer on his phone and threatened to return if the student left the stall before the alarm sounded.

Laroche faces charges including abuse of a disabled adult, false imprisonment, and providing a false name to law enforcement. When apprehended on campus, he reportedly identified himself with a false name. While he claimed to be a student, university reports indicate he is not enrolled at the institution.
