YouTuber Davy Jones denies authorization of image use in Zema campaign video

YouTuber Davy Jones has publicly stated that he did not authorize the use of his voice or image in an animated campaign video released by presidential candidate Romeu Zema. Jones announced that he has referred the matter to his lawyers after a video appeared on the candidate's profile.

The video, which appears to have been created using artificial intelligence tools, simulates a kart racing video game. It features Zema as a character and includes a puppet-like character with a voice and appearance highly similar to Jones. The animation also features various political figures, including members of the Supreme Federal Court and President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.

While the video has reportedly been removed from the candidate's profile, Jones emphasized that he has not granted permission for any political party to use his likeness.
