YouTuber Fat Ho announces passing of girlfriend after cancer battle

Hong Kong YouTuber Fat Ho, a member of the FHProductionHK channel, has announced the passing of his girlfriend, Bo, following a year-long battle with cancer.

Bo was diagnosed approximately one year ago with a rare, 19.5-centimeter tumor in her abdomen. Doctors initially assessed the tumor as likely malignant. Throughout her treatment, which included intensive chemotherapy, Bo experienced severe side effects such as nerve pain, cramping, vomiting, and an inability to eat.

Due to a lack of medical insurance, the couple faced significant financial pressure; initial diagnostic tests in a private hospital cost approximately 190,000 HKD in just two days. Fat Ho reportedly reduced his work commitments to focus on her care, even co-managing a YouTube channel with her to document their lives and maintain a sense of normalcy.

Fans expressed shock at the news, noting that recent videos of the couple appearing to enjoy outings, such as a trip to Ocean Park, had given the impression that her condition was stabilizing. Fat Ho shared a final tribute on social media, expressing his wish for her to be free from pain.
