Greg Guillotin faces trial for domestic violence and new sexual assault investigation
French comedian and YouTuber Greg Guillotin has been placed in police custody in Palaiseau following multiple allegations of domestic violence and harassment. The Évry prosecutor's office confirmed the measure, which follows a complaint filed on June 17 by a former partner. The allegations cover a period from 2019 to 2026 and include claims of physical and psychological abuse, humiliation, and constant surveillance using private cameras.
Guillotin is scheduled to stand trial at the Évry criminal court on November 27, 2026. He faces charges of habitual domestic violence that resulted in a 30-day period of total incapacity for work. The prosecution has requested judicial control, including a ban on contacting the victim and an obligation to undergo medical care.
In addition to the existing investigation, a second investigation has been opened by the Nanterre prosecutor's office following a complaint from another former partner alleging sexual assault. Guillotin has publicly expressed shame regarding the allegations of physical and psychological violence, stating through his lawyer, Tom Michel, that he intends to cooperate with investigators and provide his version of events.
