YouTuber Rama Nandana detained in Hyderabad over UK job fraud case

Telugu YouTuber Rama Nandana, known as Nandu’s World, has been detained by police at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad. The detention follows a lookout circular issued in connection with an alleged job fraud investigation involving UK visa assistance.

The case was filed by Mamillapalli Sivakranthi Kumar, a resident of the UK, who alleges he paid ₹15 lakh in multiple transactions to Destiny Consultancy. The complainant sought help with employment, visa extensions, and a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS), but claims the CoS provided was fraudulent and only ₹2 lakh was eventually returned.

Police have named Nandana, her husband Jagarlamudi Madhukar, and his father Mohan Rao in the case. Nandana has denied the allegations, stating that she and her husband do not own or operate the consultancy. The couple has approached the High Court to challenge the FIR.
