YouTuber Sakura reveals end of eight-year relationship

Sakura, a member of the popular YouTube duo ‘Oshima Channel’ alongside her brother Shun, revealed during a personal channel update on September 13 that she has ended an eight-and-a-half-year relationship.

She shared that her former partner expressed a desire to break up in mid-April, followed by a period of reflection in May, leading to a formal separation in June. Sakura described the experience as a ‘major heartbreak,’ noting that the emotional distress was so severe she struggled to eat and felt a lack of vitality during the process.

Despite the difficulty of the split, which she noted was not a mutually amicable parting, Sakura expressed a desire to move forward. She stated that she feels she has become stronger through the experience and intends to focus on self-improvement, including fashion and makeup content.
