YouTubers face court over alcohol marketing allegations
Two 27-year-old twins appeared in the Odense Court facing potential fines of 250,000 DKK regarding their social media content. The case stems from a video that the Consumer Ombudsman determined featured alcohol and vodka in a manner targeting children and youths under 18.
The twins have denied several charges, including inciting dangerous behavior in minors and violating marketing laws regarding alcohol. They argue the content was intended for an adult audience, specifically those attending festivals, and was not meant for children. However, they have pleaded guilty to one charge involving an Instagram post that failed to correctly mark a YouTube video as containing advertising.
