Yoyo Mong clarifies residency and discusses marriage to Ekin Cheng

Actress Yoyo Mong has addressed rumors regarding her residency in Japan and shared personal insights into her marriage with actor Ekin Cheng during a promotional interview for her film, ‘My Dad Wants to Travel’. Mong clarified that she has primarily resided in Hong Kong, despite previous reports suggesting she had moved to Fukuoka to manage a real estate business.

Reflecting on her twenty-year relationship with Cheng, Mong described a marriage built on mutual respect and acceptance of each other's values. She also opened up about overcoming childhood trauma caused by her family's history, noting that Cheng’s perspective helped her approach life with less fear.

Following the passing of her father and sister, Mong expressed a desire for a simpler, more relaxed lifestyle, focusing on personal well-being rather than professional pressure. This shift in mindset accompanies her recent return to the film industry after a six-year hiatus.
