Yozgat community ceremony circumcises 30 boys in traditional celebration
On a recent day in Yozgat, Turkey, the Sivas Vakıflar Regional Directorate organized a traditional circumcision ceremony for 30 boys as part of its social‑responsibility projects.
The program began with a Qur'an reading at Çapanoğlu Büyük Camii, followed by a procession through Republic Square, a city tour, and concluded at the Provincial Special Administration garden where gifts were presented. Local officials, including Governor Mehmet Ali Özkan, MP Süleyman Şahan, and regional director Mehmet Ali Çalışkan, spoke, describing the event as an expression of foundation tradition and community solidarity.
