Ypané: Two youths die after motorcycle falls into stream

Two 19-year-old men died early Wednesday morning after their motorcycle fell into the Héroes de Ytororó stream in Ypané, Central Department. The victims have been identified as Mauricio Eduardo Ramírez Mendoza and Brayan Damián Pereira Sanabria, who were coworkers at a company in San Antonio.

The accident occurred around 03:30 near the intersection of Bernardino Caballero Avenue and Route PY01. While the exact cause remains under investigation by the National Police, preliminary hypotheses suggest that dense fog and road conditions may have contributed to the incident.

Volunteer firefighters recovered the bodies and the motorcycle, a Taiga TL 200 CR1, from the water. Due to a lack of surveillance cameras in the immediate area, authorities are seeking witnesses to determine if other vehicles were involved.
