YPF stock projected 25% gain as analysts raise price target

Adcap Grupo Financiero analysts forecast that YPF's American‑Depositary‑Receipt (ADR) shares could rise about 25 % in the next 12 months, raising their price target to US$63 from US$55 and recommending a buy. The stock currently trades near US$50 and the analysts estimate a US$100 investment could return up to US$125 within a year. Shares have climbed 11 % in July and are up 45 % year‑to‑date for 2026. The outlook is driven by strong downstream margins that produced a record EBITDA, as well as a slate of projects in the Vaca Muerta shale basin, including a pipeline that is 70 % complete and plans to boost shale‑oil output by 30 % by 2026. Larger initiatives such as the Loma La Lata (LLL) Oil project aim for 240,000 barrels per day by 2032, and the Argentina LNG project targets liquefied natural gas export capacity.
