YRTC Hastings staff suspended following investigation

A staff member at YRTC Hastings in Lincoln, Nebraska, has been suspended following the discovery of inappropriate notes on a youth's desk during a routine check.

The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) has reported the findings to law enforcement and the child abuse hotline. An investigation is currently underway to ensure the safety of the youths at the facility.
