YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to visit Kurnool to meet jailed MLA

YSRCP President and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is scheduled to visit Kurnool district on August 13. During his visit, he plans to travel to the District Jail at Panchalingala to meet with Alur MLA Virupakshi, who is currently incarcerated following an arrest in an alleged illegal case.

Reddy has also issued criticisms regarding the administration of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. Specifically, he addressed the death of Dr. Priyanka, a postgraduate medical student in Rajamahendravaram. Reddy alleged that the state government and police machinery have demonstrated negligence and political bias, claiming the government is misusing power against the Opposition.
