YSL Beauty hosts Rio event and launches TikTok Shop in Brazil

Yves Saint Laurent Beauty hosted the ‘YSL Beauty Block Party’ in downtown Rio de Janeiro, utilizing the Rua do Senado to blend beauty, music, and digital commerce. The event featured local cultural elements, including a procession by Bloco Borogodó and musical performances by DJ Pauly, Bonde das Maravilhas, and Batekoo.

Alongside the cultural event, the brand launched its official store on TikTok Shop in Brazil, becoming the first high-fashion-inspired beauty brand to join the platform in the country. Priscila Chagas, director of YSL Beauty in Brazil, stated that the initiative aims to connect with younger audiences and Gen Z trends by engaging with authentic local spaces.
