YSRCP criticizes media for insulting protesting government employees

YSRCP spokesperson Putha Siva Shankar has condemned certain media outlets for allegedly using derogatory language to describe government employees participating in protests. Shankar claimed that media sections referred to the protesters as a ‘blade batch’ and ‘ganja batch’.

He defended the protesters, noting that many Village and Ward Secretariat employees hold advanced qualifications, such as B. Tech, M. Tech, and postgraduate degrees. Shankar criticized journalists for ridiculing individuals for securing government positions and demanded legal action against the media organizations and individuals responsible for the insults.

Additionally, the YSRCP urged the Andhra Pradesh government to address the legitimate grievances of the employees and to withdraw legal cases filed against those who participated in the demonstrations.
