YSRCP slams Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu's finance white paper

The YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) has denounced the white paper on state finances presented by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, calling it "misleading" and "devoid of substance." Former Finance Minister Buggana Rajendranath said the document fails to mention revenue figures and that the claimed 11% GSDP growth contradicts falling state revenues.

The party argued that the paper serves self‑promotion for the current administration, contrasting it with the previous government led by Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, which it says delivered better welfare outcomes for farmers, women, youth and students. YSRCP accused Naidu of inflating borrowing figures and urged the public to judge progress based on actual benefits rather than the contested report.
