YTB connects youth through TEKNOFEST and cultural programs

The Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB) has engaged with international students and Turkish youth through various initiatives. At the TEKNOFEST Southeast festival in Şanlıurfa, YTB facilitated connections between international students studying in Turkey, Turkish youth living abroad, and the local technology ecosystem. YTB President Abdulhadi Turus noted that the festival allows young people to witness advanced technological developments, such as aircraft and space studies, firsthand.

Additionally, a book launch program was held in Istanbul for ‘Bilge Bir Kişi, Evrensel Bir Bakış-Fethi Gemuhluoğlu’, published by YTB. The event, held at the Turkish International Islamic Science and Technology University, featured speakers including Istanbul Governor Davut Gül and President Turus. The program highlighted the life and views of Fethi Gemuhluoğlu, emphasizing his support for youth and his human-centric approach to global perspectives. Turus noted that YTB’s mission to provide scholarships and cultural education to students from 164 countries aligns with the values of fostering international understanding.
